The ANZAC Cenotaph is a monument erected in honour of our ANZACs. ANZAC and remembrance services are held at war memorials and cenotaphs and seen as “empty tombs” of our service men and women whose remains are buried elsewhere.
In commemoration of the 100 years of ANZAC, students enrolled in the school’s construction and landscaping course and other volunteers have constructed a memorial to our ANZACS. The cenotaph made out of brick and concrete construction is located in the precinct of the school’s 50th anniversary garden. The cenotaph stands within the schools flag poles and will remain as a integral parts of the school’s culture and history.
