Excursion Information
• Your child has been chosen among a select group of Year 9/10 students who will be going on an excursion to the Sydney International Equestrian Centre on Tuesday 15 September 2026. This is because our school has been chosen to provide student helpers for the School Sport Australia Cross Country Championships.
• This excursion has been planned to provide students with the opportunity to experience the behind the scenes running of a major National Championship event. Students will be involved in the roles of course marshalling and assisting with media.
• Students will depart from Gymea Technology High School on Tuesday 15 September 2026 at 7:00 AM SHARP and return to Gymea Technology High School at 4:00 PM on Tuesday 15 September 2026.
• Travel will be by Bus (the cost of the bus has been covered by School Sport Australia).
• Accompanying staff are: N. Breen. Students on course marshal positions will be supervised by a NSW Department of Education Staff Member near their location throughout the day.
• Sport Uniform is to be worn to this excursion.
