Year 12 – Responsible Conduct of Gambling (RCG) Course

Excursion Information

•   Year 12 will be participating in the Responsible Gambling Services course (RCG) at Gymea Technology High School  on Thursday 28 May 2026.

•   This excursion has been planned to supplement the following work being done in the classroom:.

The RCG course: Anyone working in venues offering gambling activities (clubs, pubs, casinos, or events with gaming machines or betting facilities). Teaches safe and responsible gambling practices.

On successful completion of the courses students are issued with a statement of attainment in the unit of competence

SITHGAM022 Provide Responsible Gambling Services. 

Students must be at least 16 years of age prior to commencing the course and can use the license 18 years of age. 

•Theory training in the classroom

• Assessment for both knowledge and skills

•   The cost of the excursion is $90 per student which is to be paid to the administration office by Monday 25  May.

•   The course will commence at 8.30am and finish at 3:00 PM at Gymea Technology High School on Thursday 28 May.

•   Students are required to bring their USI numbers with them. 

•   Accompanying staff are: V.Hristodoulou

•   School Uniform is to be worn to this excursion.
