Excursion Information
Year 7, 8, 9 & 10 Dance Companies are performing at The Pavilion Performing Arts Centre on Thursday 4 June 2026 for SUTHERLAND DANCE FESTIVAL.
During the day:
Students will depart from Gymea Technology High School on Thursday 4 June at the beginning of recess and return to Gymea Technology High School during lunch.
Travel will be by Walking and Train. A valid opal/credit card will be required. Accompanying staff are: K.Godwin, P.Stevens.
Sport Uniform is to be worn for this excursion. Students must bring their dance costume for rehearsal, as well as recess, lunch and water.
In the evening:
Students will arrive at the Pavilion stage door IN COSTUME with a warm jacket, and their hair and make up done.
There are two shows:
Show 1: 5:30pm
Show 2: 8:00pm
5:00pm Arrival: Year 7 ‘Magnetic Flux’ and Year 9 & 10 ‘Maybe’ meet at the stage door.
7:00pm Dismissal: Parents must collect their child from the stage door.
7:30pm Arrival: Year 8 ‘Slither & Strike’ and Year 9 & 10 ‘Undivided’ meet at the stage door.
9:00pm Dismissal: Parents must collect their child from the stage door.
