Year 12 – Rural and Urban Places Darling Harbour Fieldwork

Excursion Information

•   Year 12 will be going on an excursion to Darling Harbour on Tuesday 24 June 2025.

•   This excursion has been planned to supplement the following work being done in the classroom: Fieldwork is a mandatory component of the Stage 6 syllabus. This fieldwork has been planned to supplement the learning the topic Urban and Rural Places. 

•   The cost of the excursion is $15 per student which is to be paid to the administration office by Tuesday 10  June.     Students will also need an Opal Card for travel to and from the venue. 

•   Year 12 will depart from Gymea Train Station on Tuesday 24 June  at 8:00 AM and return to Gymea Train Station at 3:00 PM. 

•   Travel will be by Train and Light Rail.

•  Students will need to bring writing material and a clipboard to undertake the fieldwork activities required, their own lunch and recess, a water bottle, hat and sunscreen. 

•   Accompanying staff is: M.Polianitis

•    Casual/ neat attire is to be worn to this excursion with comfortable walking shoes.
