Years 7-10 – 2025 Game Changer Challenge Stage 1

Excursion Information

•   Your child has expressed an interest in participating in the 2025 NSW Department of Education Game Changer Challenge Stage 1.

•   This incursion has been planned to supplement the following work being done in the classroom: The Game Changer Challenge is about more than just solving problems. It’s about learning to think like a designer, solve real-world issues, and work as a team to bring bold ideas to life. Students will also develop skills in collaboration, critical thinking, creativity, and communication. Opportunities include connecting with industry experts, gaining confidence in pitching ideas, and demonstrating their voice and ideas can drive real change.

•   Students will meet on Monday 7th April at lunchtime to begin developing their idea for the 2025 Wicked Problem ‘Ensure sustainable futures for all’. Subsequent meetings will be held at lunchtime throughout Term 2, with students working with their group on their Challenge Stage 1 submission due Week 4, Term 2.
