Excursion Information
• The School Athletics Carnival will be held at The Ridge Athletics Track, Recreation Drive, Barden Ridge on Friday 28 March 2025.
• Participation: The Athletics Carnival is a whole school event all students are expected to attend. Attendance and participation at all major carnivals enables your child to have the opportunity to participate in Zone and Regional Athletics, Knockout Sporting Teams and other representation in school activities.
• Travel and Cost: Please indicate on the attached permission note your chosen travel arrangements from the options below.
Option A – Cost is $5 per student for entry into the Athletics Track ONLY. Your child will travel to and from the carnival themselves.
Option B: Cost is $12 per student for entry into the Athletics Track AND the bus. Your child will travel to and from the carnival by the school organised buses. Students need to be at school by 8:00AM and will return back to school on the buses by 2:30PM.
All payments need to be made to the administration office by Friday 14 March, 2025.
• Uniform and Sun Protection: Sport Uniform is to be worn. Students are advised to bring adequate sun protection (hat and sunscreen) as there is limited shade available.
• Food: Students are advised to bring their own lunch to the carnival. Students may wish to bring some small change if the canteen or food stalls are available.
• Zone Representative Team: Our school’s Zone Athletics Team will be selected from the results of this carnival to compete at the Sutherland Zone Athletics Carnival.
• Our entire teaching staff will be attending the carnival.
