2026 CAPA Showcase and Rehearsals ‘Elevate’

Excursion Information

Your child has been chosen to participate or perform in the CAPA Showcase event and rehearsal at Gymea Technology High School on Thursday 30 July 2026. This excursion has been planned for Students involved in Music, Dance, the Vocals Program and Drama to have the opportunity to perform for our school community

 All participating students will need to attend the rehearsal at School on Thursday 30 July. Full sport uniform must be worn. Students will change into their costume for the rehearsal only. 

The schedule for the rehearsal is as follows:

Period 1-2:

– All Dancers

-Barracuda – Alicia M & Kate R

-Someone You Loved – Tyne H & Zoe W

-How Far I’ll Go – Iona F & Grace L

-Underpressure – Year 10 & 11 Vocals

-Love on the Brain – Zoe M & BVs

-Good Morning Baltimore – Jasmine M

-The Greatest – Kate R

-When We Were Young – Alicia M

Period 3:

-Black Sheep – Blake, Charlotte, Jace & Lucy

-Master of Puppets – Judah, Benji, Thomas & George

-Paint It Black – Michael R, Mason C, Harry P, Kingsley T, Elijah A, James C, (Maya – Bass)

-Space Oddity – Vocals

Period 4:

-FINALE Rehearsal – ALL CAST

Period 5-6:

– FULL DRESS REHEARSAL – ALL CAST

 Students should meet Mrs Godwin at the school hall for the evening performance at 5:40pm, in full costume.

 Tickets will be sold on the night. $5 per person. Doors open at 5:40pm, for a show start at 6pm. Drinks and snacks can be purchased on the night. All proceeds from the event, will go towards resources for the Performing Arts Unit at GTHS.
