Excursion Information
• Year 9&10 Dance Company will be performing at the Seymour Centre on Tuesday 16th June for the In The Spotlight Dance Festival 2026. The festival promotes dance education to engage students in rigorous and comprehensive syllabus based learning in NSW public primary and high schools.
• Students will attend normal classes Period 1&2 in their sport uniform. The group will depart from Gymea Technology High School on Tuesday 16th June at recess, catch the train to Redfern Station (using a valid opal/credit card), then walk as a group to the Seymour Centre. The group will be directed through a lighting and dress rehearsal. Students will then be walked to Broadway Shopping Centre for a dinner break before walking back to the Seymour Centre at approximately 5pm to prepare for the 6:15pm performance.
• Parents will be responsible for collecting their child from the Seymour Centre at the conclusion of the performance at approximately 7:20pm.
Tickets:
Tickets will go on sale soon. Your child will be informed via Google Classroom as soon as the information is available. All tickets will be sold through the Seymour Centre.
NOTE: there are two shows per night – please ensure you buy tickets for the 6:15pm performance.
