Excursion Information
Our Schools Spectacular Troupe of 16 students have been selected to represent our school in the 2025 School Spectacular ‘Remarkable’. The students will be performing in a combined dance item.
REHEARSALS
Various locations by bus:
Tuesday 28 October – 9am-3pm Netball Central
Tuesday 4 November – 9am-3pm Netball Central
Wednesday 5 November – time TBC Qudos Bank Arena
Friday 14 November – 9am-3pm Netball Central
Exact meeting times for buses will be communicated via Google Classroom, however, students should expect to meet at the GTHS Bus Bay at 7:15am and expect to return approximately 4:30pm.
PERFORMANCES
Show Week @ Qudos Bank Arena:
Wednesday 26 November TBC by train
Thursday 27 November TBC by train
Friday 28 November 11am by train, evening by private vehicle. Guardian pick up approximately 10pm
Saturday 29 November 1pm by private vehicle. Guardian pick up approximately 10pm
PAYMENT
The cost to each student will be $200, payable to the front office. This covers their costume, resources, any props and bus travel. Students will be required to bring their own Opal Card for all train travel.
Other details:
– Students will need to pack plenty of food and water for all dates. Sport uniform, dance attire, spec costume and spec shirt is to be worn to this excursion.
