Excursion Information
• Year 7 & 8 Dance/Vocals, Year 9, Year 10, Year 11, and Year 12 CAPA students are invited to an excursion to the Lyric Theatre on Wednesday 6 August 2025 to see MJ the Musical.
• This excursion has been planned to supplement the following work being done in the classroom: Creative and performing arts students will experience a live stage production, exposing them to live music, acting, drama and costume and set design. This will link to work done in class prior to attendance around roles within the Industry and the variety of requirements for a live stage show.
• The cost of the excursion is $69 per student which is to be paid to the administration office by Monday 2nd June.
• Students will depart from Gymea Technology High School on Wednesday 6 August at 10:30 AM and return to Sutherland Station at 4:30 PM. If a student would like to be dismissed from the city or at another option, prior written permission must be received by the office.
• Travel will be by Train, Tram and Walking. Students will need an OPAL/Contactless card with sufficient funds to cover the return trip via public transport.

• Neat Casual with enclosed shoes is to be worn to this excursion. Time for lunch will be provided before the show, students should bring their own food. Backpacks can be no bigger than A4 due to theatre requirements.
