Excursion Information
• The Year 7 Dance Company will be going on an excursion to the Seymour Centre on Wednesday 18th June 2025 to perform in the In The Spotlight Dance Festival 2025.
• The Year 7 Dance Company will depart from Gymea Technology High School on Wednesday 18th June at recess, catch the train to Redfern, then walk as a group to the Seymour Centre. The group will be directed through a lighting and dress rehearsal before walking to Broadway Shopping Centre where they will be able to buy themselves dinner. Students will be supervised at the shopping centre. The group will then return to the Seymour Centre for the evening performance. Students will need to be collected by parents at the conclusion of the performance. Please see approximate times below.
The Year 7 Dance Company will be performing WAVE AFTER WAVE in the 6:15pm show on Wednesday June 18th. They are 3rd in the program. Students will need to be collected from the downstairs foyer of the Seymour Centre at approx. 7:15pm.
Tickets
Tickets will go on sale soon. Your child will be informed via Google Classroom as soon as the information is available. All tickets will be sold through the Seymour Centre. Remember that there are two shows per night – ensure you buy tickets for the 6:15pm performance.
