Camila Alispahic of Year 8 is looking to show her support of those less fortunate than her through the very selfless act of chopping 37cm off her very long hair while raising funds to donate to Variety – the Children’s Charity. Her hair will be used to make wigs for those who have lost their hair due to a medical condition.
Camila is one of our HPGE students who is no stranger to supporting causes bigger than herself, always doing so quietly and without a fuss. In fact, it was Camila’s family who quietly contacted us to let us know the reason for the big chop! She is aiming to raise $1000 and though she has already surpassed this mark, every little bit counts.
We would love to be able to show her that we know about her selfless act and that we are behind her. If you are able to support her in any way, big or small, please follow the link below to donate to her worthwhile cause.
