Arrangements for the commencement of the 2022 school year

As the 2021 school year ends and holidays commence, we would like to wish everyone a safe and happy holiday break.  Key dates for the new school year are listed below:

Tuesday 1 February:

  • Year 7, Year 12 and Year 10 Peer Leaders return to school for 2022
  • Year 7 students will be involved in a variety of activities with their peer leaders and teachers.
  • Year 7 and Year 10 leaders are to wear sports uniform. 
  • Students to bring a pen, notebook and recess. 
  • BBQ lunch provided for Year 7 and Peer Leaders.
  • Year 12 and Peer leaders will start the day at 8:40am
  • Year 7 will be starting at 9:30am (to meet in the school hall)

Wednesday 2 February:

  • Year 8, Year 9, Year 10 and Year 11 students return to school for 2022. Start time is 8:40am.
  • Students in years 7-10 to wear sports uniform
  • Normal timetabled lessons for everyone.

Thursday 3 February:

All students are following normal timetabled lessons and will need to be prepared with books and writing materials. Normal school uniform must be worn.

The timetable will be available on student’s MyGymea and a generic timetable will be provided on the school website. 


  • Our Uniform Shop will be open on Monday 31 January from 8:15am – 12:30pm and every Tuesday morning of the school term from 8.15am – 9.00am and 10.30am – 11.00am.

  • Students in years 8-12 can check MyGymea in late January for their 2022 timetable.
  • Year 7 students will be issued with a copy of their timetable on the first day. They will be able to access MyGymea after that.
