Key Points
- Our annual swimming carnival, held at Caringbah Leisure Centre on Wednesday 17 February was a buzz of activity and excitement with students racing to achieve their personal best.
- Congratulations to our Year 7 students and competitors from years 8-12 who participated in the day and to our Year 11 SLR students for their lead in the organisation and running of the carnival.
Our annual Swimming Carnival was held at Caringbah Leisure Centre though a little differently to years passed due to the restrictions outlined by the Sutherland Shire Council. The restrictions limited the number of students at the venue this year meaning the carnival was focused on competitors only along with our new Year 7 students to enable them to complete their mandatory swim testing.

In spite of the drizzling rain, the carnival was a buzz of activity, excitement and swimmers racing to achieve their personal best! These restricted arrangements also provided a leadership opportunity for our Year 11 Sports, Lifestyle and Recreation class who assisted our teachers in organising and running the event.
Congratulations not only to our Year 7 students and our competitors from years 8 to 12 who participated in the day but also to the outstanding leadership shown by our Year 11 SLR students.
We would like to also congratulate our strong team of students heading off to the Zone Carnival today. We look forward to hearing your results!
